Free Drinks should not mean a Convo too...
Last night Aimee and I went out on the town for a few drinks. We started @ this Mexican place that had amazing margaritas. They are definitely much better than Ceasars, where I only feel nautious afterward and don't want to go out after the drink. We then headed to one of the gay bars in the area for a drink. It was my first time in a gay bar and it was so much fun! But then you realize not one person is interested in you and it's kind of a feeling of "well, this is fun and probably a place I want to go if I'm not really looking for a guy". However, as Aimee and I discussed, I'm in at a point in my life where hook-ups are not what I want and I'm more interested in a boyfriend (with potential to be a husband...YIKES!). But, I am not at the stage of actively seeking a husband...confusing, right? After cocktails, we went to our favorite pub. I was standing @ the bar and this nasty drunk was like what's your name...of course I give him my pseudo-name, where I'm from, etc. He was like can I buy you a drink. And I said, well if you buy me a drink you need to buy my friend a drink as well. He couldn't grasp what I was saying (he was drunk) but finally bought both of us our drinks. Seriously, I'm not going to refuse a drink. So, of course he thinks that's an invitation for him to be allowed to sit with us.
As we were sitting, he was trying to explain something or other and I was very rude to him. Finally, I was like I'm bored with this, lets talk politics (Aimee and I are from different political sides so it's always interesting). The guy got up and with that Aimee and I dashed out the bar and caught a cab (bitches, right?) . That pretty much ended our night....
Now, I'm off to work and possibly Venitian nights.
